How we change

Codrin Tapu asserts that people possess several kinds of aspects or hypostases, which are ways of being, adapting, relating, changing, or appearing to others.
*Adaptive aspects pertain to the internal organization of the person and the way she adapts to environment.
*Constitutive aspects are the ways in which personality is constituted within its relations with the organism and the external world.
*Temporal aspects are the forms that the person takes along the time line, including actions, states of consciousness, and developmental stages.
*Referential aspects are the ways the person is perceived by herself or by others.
*Integrative aspects are varied combinations of the previous.

All these aspects can have various degrees of organization and efficiency that explain deviance and psychopathology.
